Your data is used exclusively to personalise Noor's responses, track your XP and spiritual progress, restore your data when you reinstall, and improve the app based on anonymised usage patterns.

NoorChat uses: • Supabase — secure database and authentication • Anthropic Claude — AI for Noor's responses • Aladhan API — prayer time calculations • EveryAyah.com — Quran audio recitations • RevenueCat — subscription management We do not share personally identifiable information with any third party for advertising.

Your account data is retained as long as your account exists. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting support@noorchat.app. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

NoorChat is rated 9+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 9. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us immediately.

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and Supabase's Row Level Security to protect your data. No transmission method is 100% secure, but we take every reasonable precaution.

When your account is deleted, Noor deletes the account and associated user data maintained for your Noor account, including account information, profile/progress data, saved content, and associated chat data, subject to any data that may need to be retained as described below.

Certain information may be retained when required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or financial/accounting purposes. Any retained information is kept only for the period required for the applicable purpose or legal obligation and is not used to maintain your deleted Noor account.

Deleting your Noor account does not necessarily cancel an active Noor Pro subscription. Before deleting your account, cancel any active subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play, as applicable to your device. Subscription billing and refunds are handled by the applicable app store.

NoorChat is an Islamic AI companion app designed to support your daily spiritual practice through guided dhikr, Quran reading, Islamic learning, and AI-assisted reflection. NoorChat is developed independently and is not affiliated with any religious institution or scholarly authority.

Noor is an AI assistant — not a certified Islamic scholar, mufti, or religious authority. All Islamic content, including Quranic reflections, hadith references, duas, and responses from Noor, are provided for educational and spiritual inspiration purposes only. For religious rulings (fatwas), legal Islamic opinions, or any matter of significant religious importance, please consult qualified scholars from your local community or trusted Islamic institutions. While we strive for accuracy, Quranic translations, hadith texts, and Islamic content may contain errors. Always verify with primary sources.

You must be 9 years of age or older to use NoorChat. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you should have the permission of a parent or guardian.

NoorChat offers a free tier and a Pro subscription processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system, subject to Apple's Terms of Service. • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. • To cancel, manage your subscription through your Apple ID settings. • Refunds are handled by Apple per their refund policy. • Features available under the free tier may change over time.

We collect minimal data necessary to provide NoorChat's features. We do not sell, share, or monetize your personal data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

NoorChat is built for sincere learners and practitioners of Islam. You agree to use the app only for its intended spiritual and educational purposes, and to treat all religious content with appropriate respect.

All original content in NoorChat — including the app design, Noor's responses, and lesson content — is owned by NoorChat. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute NoorChat's original content without written permission.

NoorChat is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any spiritual, religious, or personal decisions made based on Noor's responses, nor for temporary unavailability or data loss. NoorChat does not replace human judgment, professional advice, or scholarly guidance.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of NoorChat after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
